Walking Grp

Until recently the WDTA walking group was an opportunity for people to walk their dogs in an urban setting  with others.

A good work out for both dogs and handlers the walks were generally about one hour and were neighbourhood walks changing to a different location each month.

During winter the walks were held on Saturday mornings, with the onset of daylight saving the walks were held Thursday evenings.

Walkers gave a gold coin donation, proceeds donated to local animal shelters or causes agreed by the group.

Currently there is no formal organisation of walks. If you are keen to belong to a group such as this – even be instrumental in setting it up – could you please contact Glenys Brown president@wdta.org.nz
